Conscious Connections

Problem: A communication and coaching tool for couples, with AI-mediated conflict translation and a safety layer that screens for intimate-partner-violence signals.
Decided: Privacy is enforced by structure, not instruction. Each AI touchpoint has its own context loader declaring exactly what it may see.
Happened: The marketing site is live; the toolkit is in beta ahead of launch.

Everbook

Problem: A greenfield concept: light product notes, a market reference, and no code. The product is an AI voice interview that becomes a typeset, press-ready hardcover.
Decided: Wire the browser straight to the model. The realtime voice session is a direct WebRTC connection from the client to OpenAI; the server never touches the audio.
Happened: Fourteen months from first commit: MVP to production in six, then a relaunch. Over 99% production stability.

Future of Cities

Problem: Ten disconnected legacy databases across five business entities.
Decided: Unify the data first, and let the technical debt stand. Two of six weeks went to migration and reconciliation before any visible feature shipped.
Happened: Ten legacy systems now run as one platform, and the team maintains and extends it without dedicated engineering staff.
